Ditch the walled gardens.
Bring your own models and voices
Bring your own models
Live todayOpenRouter, local models, and any OpenAI-compatible API — configurable per role (chat, watcher, subconscious).
Bring your own voices
Live todayElevenLabs-powered voices you can swap without your companion losing who they are. More providers planned.
Self-hosting
RoadmapRunning Continuum on your own VPS, cloud, or hardware is planned, not shipped. We won't claim it until you can actually do it.
Per-user encryption
RoadmapEncryption with keys only you hold — so we couldn't read your data even if we wanted to. Designed, not shipped.
Where your data actually lives
On our infrastructure
Your companion's data lives in the platform's database, operated by Continuum. It is isolated per account, but it is not on hardware you control.
Can Continuum read it?
Technically, yes — like nearly every hosted service. We won't claim "we can't read your data" until per-user encryption with user-held keys actually ships.
What we commit to
We don't sell your data, and we delete it when you ask.
When encryption with user-held keys ships — it's on the roadmap, along with one-file export — the stronger claims come back. Not before.
Portability is the goal
Export everything
RoadmapIdentity, memories, relationships, state — assembled into one file you can take with you.
Import everything
RoadmapMove in from an export or another deployment without losing continuity.
Switch models freely
Live todayChange model providers without resetting your companion — identity and memory stay put.
